We have designed our website to be intuitive and user friendly.

 

Here are some tips to enhance your experience when navigating this website.

 

Under, and to the right of the green SMC Cornici banner, is a menu bar comprising of a series of dropdown menus; Information, Services, Contact, Galleries & Home.

 

Clicking either of these will open a drop list of pages available.

 

Information

 

Here are various language specific pages giving information about our company, trading terms and privacy.

 

Services

 

Again, in language specific files, we explain a little of what we can offer clients.

 

Contact

 

Here we provide our contact information and an automatic contact us e.mail form.

 

Galleries

 

This is where you find the products that we manufacture divided into groups according to styles.

 

Click on a gallery and a series of thumbnails photos will open and a slide show will begin.

 

To the right is a larger photo (we call it mid-sized) of the thumbnail currently highlighted. Clicking on the mid-sized photo will open a larger photo of the same image. To close the larger photo simply click the X button at the top right of the photo. This will take you back to the thumbnail gallery.

 

You do not have to wait for the slideshow to view an image. Simply click on any thumbnail to open the mid-sized photo.

 

Your monitor size will determine how many thumbnails appear on your screen. At the top left of the thumbnail gallery you will see a series of numbers in rectangular frames. These are the pages containing more images in this gallery. Click on any number to move forwards or backwards.

 

Home

 

Clicking this returns you to the home page from anywhere on the website.

 

Enhanced navigation

 

At the top right of the screen are some enhanced navigation apps.

 

Favorites

 

Whilst navigating you might like to note a photo to go return to later. The favorites section will allow you to collect all the photos that interested you for later viewing.

 

To do this you need to set up an account. the first time that you click on Favorites you will asked to complete a short form. Simply complete the form and you ready. After that you need only click favorites when you are viewing an image that interests you and it will be added to your collection.

 

Clicking favorites at any later time will produce a gallery of thumbnails selected at the bottom of your screen. Click on a thumbnail will open the larger photo. You can delete any thumbnail by simply clicking the x on the thumbnail. Your favorites selection is stored. Next time you visit the website simply log-in again and your favorites are there.

 

Search

 

This feature lets you search for styles or profiles.

 

For example:

 

To find all mouldings that have an antique finish and are black  click search and type +antique+black in to the search box and all photos that have a moulding with an antique lack finish will appear as thumbnails, just as they do in the galleries.

 

The basic keywords are: gold, silver, black, white, wood grain, noce, modern, antique, colours.

 

Each can be used alone or by prefacing with a plus sign in combination.

 

These keywords are also available in Italian, French & German.

 

Another feature of the search app is finding profiles or a specific product.

 

All our products have a profile number followed by a / and then the finish number.

 

For example:

 

You see a profile shape 12A8 and would like to see other finishes available on this profile.

 

Click search and enter 12A8 in the search field and click search. All photos containing this profile will appear.
